About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop, and close Microsoft solutions and services opportunities within assigned territories or account sets
- Maintain proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, services offerings, licensing, and Microsoft programs
- Drive the Connection/Microsoft co-sell motion
- Grow Microsoft product and services revenue through existing-customer expansion and new customer acquisition
- Advise Sales organizations on Microsoft advanced technology strategy, services opportunity development, and customer relationships at Director level and above
- Prospect and identify business transformation opportunities
- Expand Microsoft services consumption across the customer base
- Contribute to pipeline development and support renewal and expansion efforts
- Collaborate with Sales, Microsoft, and internal teams to drive customer adoption and long-term value
- Assist Sales with new customer acquisition efforts
- Own the complete sales cycle for Microsoft advanced solutions and services opportunities, including identification, forecasting, pursuit, and execution
- Lead customer discovery and solution conversations focused on business outcomes and digital transformation
- Own co-sell motions between Sales, Microsoft teams, and internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain Director- and VP-level customer relationships
- Provide territory and account intelligence to Sales leadership and support joint account planning and growth strategy
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM reporting
- Support renewal planning and strategy, driving upsell and services attach
- Exceed quarterly services, sales, profitability goals, and quotas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Microsoft solutions or services sales, selling into Director- or VP-level contacts
- Proficiency in the Microsoft technology stack, Microsoft programs, and licensing
- Experience developing renewal strategy, driving advanced technology upsell, and services attach
- Negotiation skills and ability to close sales
- Account Management experience, including generating new business, pipeline management, and exceeding consumption-based targets
- Experience owning the sales cycle from lead development to close for professional and/or managed services opportunities
- Adaptability and ability to handle competing priorities and rapid change
- Project management skills, including managing detail, people, and resources and setting realistic goals, objectives, and timelines
- Clear and professional written and oral communication
- Skills in business-outcome and value-based selling
- Strategic thinking and ability to develop long-term plans to leverage resources
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
