About the role
- Manages project requirements, timelines, and technical integrations
- Works with customers and/or suppliers in support of new or revised systems, API, cXML or EDI integrations
- Gathers, analyzes, and translates business requirements into functional and systems specifications
- Produces artifacts that support the agile SDLC process
- Provides root cause analysis of difficult problems and their solutions
- Manages customer requests for change submitted to Helpdesk
- Supports the Development team in organizing work based on Agile/Scrum environment
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML)
- Experience working with EDI documents (including 810, 850, 855, 856, etc.)
- Knowledge of APIs (GET, POST, PATCH, DELETE) and comparing JSON output to underlying relational databases
- Proven experience distilling broad customer requirements into complex technical specifications
- Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred)
- Working knowledge of ITSM Solutions including ServiceNow, Cherwell, Atlassian, etc.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Understanding of business processes in a distribution business environment
- Knowledgeable of requirement hierarchy in the Agile Development Methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
