About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the accurate accounting, reporting, and budgeting of capital expenditures.
  • Manages all capital activity through the fixed assets module in Oracle.
  • Supports month-end close and serves as a subject matter expert on capital expenditure matters.
  • Works collaboratively with Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Supply Chain, Financial Operations, and Accounts Payable.
  • Demonstrates leadership through subject matter expertise and ownership of deliverables.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on fixed asset accounting, capital budgeting, or general ledger functions.
  • Healthcare or nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle or comparable ERP fixed asset modules strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASC 842 lease accounting standards preferred.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies.
