About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and executing all logistical and administrative, and operational aspects of new team member orientation activities, organizational learning, leadership development, training programs, and workshops.
- This role serves as the operational backbone of the Learning and Organizational Development function, ensuring learning events are delivered seamlessly, participants have an exceptional experience, and programs are executed efficiently from planning through evaluation.
- This role provides the operational support necessary to scale and sustain organizational capability-building efforts.
- The Training Coordinator partners closely with Learning & Organizational Development professionals, subject matter experts, leaders, and external vendors to coordinate training schedules, manage registrations, maintain learning records, support learning technologies, and oversee all event logistics.
- The expectation is the role will successfully execute and problem solve for each of their duties with minimal oversight, guidance, and support.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Associate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in training coordination, learning administration, event coordination, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: LMS experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to learn and administer learning management systems and related technologies.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across teams.
- Demonstrates ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong event planning and logistics management capabilities.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and troubleshoot problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions.
