Occupational Therapist
Connecticut Children's. Provides direct patient care to children with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provides direct patient care to children with physical disabilities and/or functional limitations in clinic, inpatient, outpatient and outreach programs.
- Provides occupational therapy evaluation, consultation and intervention services for assigned routine to complex pediatric patients.
- Collaborates with children, families, and other health care team members to implement and coordinate a continuous plan of care.
- Participates in staff development and research activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in an approved course of study in Occupational Therapy. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric therapy strongly preferred.
- Current State of Connecticut Occupational Therapist License required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/ CPR in adult, child and infant within first six months of hire.
