About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct in person comprehensive initial and reassessment evaluations for individuals referred for ABA services
Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessment tools (adaptive behavior, skill-based assessments, FBAs, and more)
Conduct caregiver, educator, and stakeholder interviews to gather clinical context
Observe clients across home, school, clinic, and community environments
Synthesize data into clear, clinically sound treatment recommendations
Prepare detailed assessment reports aligned with payer, regulatory, and organizational requirements
Determine medical necessity and recommend appropriate service levels and goals
Collaborate with intake and authorization teams to support insurance approvals
Provide consultation to clinical leadership regarding assessment findings
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current BCBA certification in good standing
Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
Active licensure
3+ years of ABA experience, including behavioral assessments
Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
Knowledge of insurance authorization and medical necessity criteria
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (travel required for in person assessments)
Authorized to work in the United States
Ability to pass required background checks
