Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy
  • Focuses on training and development, employee recruitment and retention, succession planning, organizational and performance management, labor relations, and compensation
  • Manages all human resources and training-related matters
  • Participates in strategic and business planning, policy formulation, process improvements, program development
  • Represents the organization regarding Employment law matters
  • Guides management and employee actions by developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements
  • Defines and owns the compensation plan and pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys
  • Enhances department and organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Colorado resident
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related degree
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) certification preferred
  • 10+ years’ relevant human resources experience, including 5+ years’ HR Director level experience
  • Ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through his/her professional qualifications and leadership skills
  • Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated competence in HR management matters such as training and development, recruitment and placement, employer-provided benefits, compensation, job design and evaluation, labor and employee relations, workers' compensation, and employee health/safety
  • Must possess working knowledge of employment law and maintain professional expertise in the field of HR management
  • Demonstrated ability to implement human resources strategies
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple organizational initiatives at once
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
