About the role

  • Responsible for accounting for private equity (PE) and real estate (RE) funds within a diversified investment portfolio
  • Maintain accurate books and records
  • Timely and accurate recording of transactions and NAV calculations on a quarterly, semi-annual, and annual basis
  • Prepare reporting packages in accordance with IFRS
  • Account for complex fund structures
  • Report primarily to investment managers
  • Archive documentation
  • Assist with preparation of annual financial statements
  • Review matters for audit purposes
  • Understand the accounting treatment of complex fund structures and related transactions
  • Manage the fund reporting cycle
  • Review fund documents
  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations
  • Prepare quarterly and half-yearly reports, net asset values, and annual financial statements
  • Handle client inquiries promptly and professionally

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional experience with an asset manager or in asset management at a bank, preferably in the funds area
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and principles, as well as regulations governing funds
  • Analytical mindset
  • Precise and reliable working style with strong team orientation
  • Responsible and efficient personality
  • Ability to work under time pressure to meet frequent daily deadlines for client deliverables
  • IT and database skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
  • German and English (language proficiency)
