About the role
- Jointly responsible for planning the bank's financial stability
- Collaboration with regulatory authorities
- Ensuring the bank's adequate capitalization
- Ensuring continuity of critical functions
- Preventing adverse impacts on financial stability
- Ensuring protection of public funds and safeguarded deposits and client funds
- Preparation and review of recovery plans in the event of financial distress
- Safeguarding critical functions and restoring stability
- Ensuring and optimizing recovery and resolution planning in cooperation with regulators and industry associations
- Responsible for the documentation of the bank's financial stability and resolution planning
- Participation in the bank's specialist committees
- Ongoing reporting to senior management
- Monitoring national and European regulations and implementing changes into systems
- Ad hoc projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law or Economics/Business Administration
- CFA or CPA is an advantage
- Knowledge of Swiss and EU banking and financial market regulation
- Professional experience at a financial market supervisory authority, a Big Four firm, or in group accounting of a systemically important bank
- Interest in regulatory topics (Basel III)
- Interest in aspects such as corporate governance or enterprise-wide bank management
- Ideally, experience with recovery & resolution or regulatory frameworks
- Analytical mindset with team orientation and attention to detail
- Interest in coordination activities
- Solution-oriented personality with high initiative and strong communication skills
- Willingness to deliver presentations to executive management and engage with regulators and associations
- IT affinity and MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in English and German.
