About the role
- Lead Cloud Kafka product management team and report to the VP of Product
- Grow Confluent Cloud and align the Cloud Kafka roadmap with strategic company goals
- Lead creation and productization of next-generation Kora capabilities for Confluent Cloud Kafka
- Work closely with customers and the field to inform Cloud’s strategy and roadmap
- Coach and develop the Cloud Kafka product management team to enable career growth and high performance
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to prioritize customer needs and take new Cloud features and capabilities to market
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B and with developer-focused products
- 6+ years of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience building and growing infrastructure cloud services (preferred)
- Experience with cloud-native streaming engines (Kora) and Kafka (preferred)
- Ability to work closely with customers, field teams, and engineering
- May require legal authorization to work in the United States (application asks about work authorization and sponsorship)
