About the role
- Lead global, industry-focused campaign strategy and execution across key verticals — from Financial Services and Retail to Manufacturing and Healthcare — ensuring Confluent’s value proposition resonates with each audience.
- Develop persona- and industry-specific offers and content mapped to the customer journey, aligning messaging with buyer pain points and market trends and then works backwards to understand the required field engagement, campaign, content and channel needs across all regions including localization and translation.
- Leverage FSI marketing expertise to guide best practices across all verticals and ensure high-impact campaigns for regulated and data-driven industries.
- Collaborate with field, partner, and digital marketing teams to activate campaigns across regions and channels — driving awareness, engagement, and conversion.
- Manage campaign budgets, channel mix, and vendor relationships to optimize reach and ROI across all vertical programs.
- Analyze campaign performance and pipeline impact, sharing actionable insights and optimization recommendations to improve conversion and efficiency.
- Align closely with Sales and SDR teams to ensure consistent messaging, seamless lead follow-up, and strong integration between marketing and go-to-market execution.
- Partner with product and industry leaders to create thought leadership content and high-visibility campaigns that reinforce Confluent’s leadership in data streaming across industries.
- Ensure global consistency and local relevance, supporting regional teams with localization, translation, and market-specific adaptations.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience in full funnel campaign management related to B2B marketing, campaigns marketing, industry marketing or growth marketing in a global capacity.
- Proven expertise in Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) marketing — experience building campaigns for banking, insurance, fintech, or capital markets audiences.
- Track record of developing successful, data-driven campaigns that drive measurable pipeline growth and accelerate deal velocity.
- Strong understanding of industry and vertical marketing strategies, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences across multiple sectors.
- Ability to build campaigns around a technical product that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences where relevant.
- Ability to work with multiple data sources and translate campaign metrics into insights.
- Experience with target account strategy and segmentation to build target lists for demand gen campaigns.
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills with ability to present complex technical ideas in a simple, straightforward manner.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage a high volume of competing tasks and demands for a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience with Asana is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, executing programs on time and within budget.
- Proven ability to collaborate as part of a cross functional team and also work autonomously.
- Sense of urgency, flawless attention to detail in execution, ability to prioritize and quickly adapt to a changing environment.
