About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join a team modernising a core solution, moving from a legacy environment to a cloud first architecture on Azure.
Build and scale the platform that underpins applications.
Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
Deliver infrastructure as code.
Enable developers to deploy and operate systems more efficiently and reliably.
Work closely with engineering teams, with a focus on automation, infrastructure, and deployment processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform essential)
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS also considered)
Experience with containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Scripting or coding experience (Python, PowerShell or similar)
Understanding of security, compliance, and deployment practices
Comfortable working across infrastructure and development teams
Experience supporting .NET or web based applications (desirable)
Exposure to hybrid or enterprise environments (cloud and on-prem)
Experience with release strategies such as blue green or canary deployments (desirable)
Exposure to financial services or data platforms (desirable)
Experience with modern cloud architecture patterns (desirable)
