About the role

- Collaborate with a dynamic, supportive team and work closely with senior decision-makers at leading institutions.
- Travel to client sites, including Ottawa, for in-person visits, web meetings, and industry events.
- Focus on renewals, upselling, and strategic account management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 years in account management, with a focus on analytics and software/data sales within the investment management industry.
- Proficient in Salesforce.com and the full Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Understanding of Miller Heiman or similar sales management approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Existing network within asset management, wealth management, or related financial sectors.
- Experience managing both large and mid-tier accounts, with a track record of identifying upsell opportunities.
- Experience building client relationships through in-person visits, web meetings, and industry conferences.
- Ability to stay current on industry trends and developments.
- Comfortable being the sole account manager for the territory, with autonomy and accountability for results.
