About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute billing for Conexa’s group health insurance operators, including generating XML files and storing batches and protocols in reports;
  • Appeal claim denials, control and reduce denials;
  • Issue invoices in ERPs, upload them to operator portals, and monitor receipt of payments;
  • Monitor medical account statements;
  • Meet tight targets and deadlines;
  • Implement improvements in the related processes;
  • Collaborate with the Technology and Product teams to resolve issues and billing impacts;
  • Work with the Commercial team to resolve delayed billings or to handle necessary formalizations/negotiations with health insurers;
  • Interpret credentialing contracts (codes, price lists, packages);
  • Ensure accurate completion of the department’s control spreadsheets.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Financial Management, Economics, or related fields;
  • Previous experience with Accounts Receivable financial routines (billing and collections); knowledge of Medical Accounts and Denial Appeals (glosa) with health insurers is desirable;
  • Microsoft Office suite;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Problem-solving, hands-on profile;
  • Fluency in AI (use of AI tools);
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Intuitive Care, Zero Glosa, or similar;
  • Experience with billing or finance for large health insurers;
  • Experience with TOTVS.
