About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule appointments for initial, reassessment, status changes, and client monitoring for recipients and applicants
- Create, save, and mail appointment packets after scheduling appointments
- Make phone calls and find substitution appointments for assessors
- Reschedule appointments
- Work side by side with the CAS/CMS team for scheduling efficiency
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments for LT-PCS home assessment recipients
- Handle high-volume call interactions efficiently and accurately one day per week or as needed
- Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and system updates
- Follow company processes, compliance standards, and quality guidelines
- Meet productivity, attendance, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one year of scheduling experience preferred
- At least one year’s experience working with older adults or people with disabilities, preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare, elderly, and disabled adult populations preferred
- Knowledge of Medicaid preferred
- Background check and Drug screening
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and autonomously
- Ability to adhere to OAAS and CSS departmental timelines
- Effective time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Availability for 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday
