About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Processing physical mail and legal documents
  • Prepare, manage and track a portfolio of vehicle insurance claims and litigation cases.
  • Submitting document requests to various contacts/contracts for assigned matters
  • Scheduling and participating in custodian interviews and conference calls
  • Conducting keyword searches and organizing case-related information
  • Providing general litigation and legal support as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and completing tasks within required deadlines
  • Review and analyze case documentation to assist attorneys and adjusters in the resolution of claims.
  • Draft and manage correspondence, summaries, reports, and other legal documents.
  • Monitor case timelines, deadlines, and tasks to ensure timely action and compliance.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to complete a required background and drug screening
  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies; *OR*
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, accompanied by a paralegal certificate and relevant legal/claims experience.
  • Proficient in conducting claims-related key term searches.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective time and task management, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
