Data Entry Specialist – Medicaid Registration
ConduentCustomer Service Data Entry Specialist providing support for the KanCare program by managing applicant entries and documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing applications and maintaining customer service standards.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide quality customer service and enter information into various systems for the KanCare program
- Review submitted applications and enter applicant information within the Kansas Economic and Enforcement System (KEES)
- Research and analyze issues to ensure enough information for decision making
- Complete assignments using multiple source documents to verify data
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations, policies, and guidelines
- Follow up on pending documents involving analysis
- Return erroneous electronic data forms to customers for additional information
- Attend training for Kansas Medicaid eligibility programs
- Answer questions about the eligibility process
- Evaluate information received through phone contact and ask follow-up questions
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in customer service
- Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in data entry
- Minimum of six (6) months’ experience in Family Medical Medicaid eligibility
- Strong computer skills with the ability to maneuver in complex software systems
- MS Office, Outlook, and Internet usage experience
- Requires excellent data entry skills and the ability to type a minimum of 28 words per minute accurately
