About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee a team dedicated to operational excellence within the Payment Services Group
Responsible for clearing/unposted, redline, probate and reclamation processes within the Payments Back Office Department
Build and lead the team and functions
Have experience across domains such as billing, payment, reconciliation, redline recovery and compliance
Lead complex implementations with outstanding planning and organizational skills
Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports
Monitor quality of work done by direct reports to ensure SLAs are met and deliverables are prioritized
Solid ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent desirable
8+ years experience as a people manager and manager of operations in some financial capacity
Experience in the Financial services industry, prepaid card, credit card and payments related operations experience preferred
Should have former Mastercard or Visa experience and have knowledge of various federal regulations, especially Reg E and how it applies to prepaid cards and be able to apply that knowledge to the teams they will manage.
Should be familiar with federal regulations in the payments industry
