Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams actively (I.e. Product and Project Management, Development, Business Analysts, Developers, Quality Assurance, and training teams)
Update test plan documentation to keep current with frequent requirement changes
Identify gaps or ambiguities in EDI requirements
Research, analyze, and understand data elements in EDI systems, as well as inbound and outbound vendor systems
Validate mapping between internal systems and EDI formats (X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON)
Ensure correct translation of fields, segments, loops, qualifiers, and codes
Improve content in response to feedback from cross -functional and colleagues in a timely manner
Adapt quickly to new scenarios that require specific skill sets and have high levels of ambiguity
Have experience in SQL experience (Oracle and/or DB2/Postgre SQL)
Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
Knowledge of using Azure-DevOps(ADO) and JIRA
Strong knowledge of QA methodology and process
Have experience in defining test strategy spanning across multiple systems, writing test plans

Requirements

7+ years’ experience in EDI experience, specifically involving platform or system migrations.
Experience with waterfall and agile SDLC methodologies
Natural curiosity in synthesizing technical details into easily consumable information
Strong oral and written communication skills required
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
Self-motivated and results driven
Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies in a fast-paced environment
Quick learner and self-starter, works well under pressure and timelines
Positive attitude, can-do spirit, attention to detail, and passion for technical writing
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to simultaneously tackle and coordinate multiple projects
4-year bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred
Exposure to Health care industry is a plus
Familiarity with multiple file types including csv, pipe-delimited, fixed-width, xlsx, etc.
Familiarity with file transfer protocols, specifically sFTP
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Familiarity with HIPAA compliance
Familiarity with adjudication systems is a plus
Experience collaborating with offshore team
Familiarity in handling sensitive and confidential data
