Lead EDIFECS configuration and development activities within a Medicaid healthcare EDI platform
Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications
Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions and system definitions
Apply recurring ECL releases (quarterly and annual) across multi-environment platforms
Serve as a technical subject matter expert on development initiatives
Participate in the full software development lifecycle
Develop technical specifications based on conceptual designs and business requirements
Maintain, support, and document system functionality and configurations
Analyze system configurations and end-to-end transaction mappings
Maintain configuration management and version control within Azure DevOps
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Advanced experience with EDIFECS in a healthcare clearinghouse or EDI platform environment
Strong understanding of ANSI X12N 5010 transaction sets
Experience with Linux, databases, ETL platforms, and reporting tools
Experience applying ECL releases and managing multi-environmental deployments
Knowledge of software architecture principles and implementation methodologies
Experience with Azure DevOps for version control and configuration management
Ability to identify gaps in system requirements and recommend effective solutions
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
7+ years of total work experience
Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing platform ownership responsibilities
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to stakeholders
Ability to collaborate across teams and influence technical decisions.
