About the role
- Providing first-level payroll support via phone (call center) and email, managing inquiries related to pay, deductions, timekeeping, and payroll procedures, while meeting defined service metrics.
- Acting as the main point of contact for payroll requests, resolving cases, escalating complex issues when needed, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Handling payroll complaints by identifying solutions within agreed timelines and ensuring proper follow-up until resolution.
- Staying up to date with payroll policies, system updates, and regulatory changes, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, consistent service delivery, and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, with payroll or HR operations experience/knowledge
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and attention to detail
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field (nice to have)
- Previous experience in payroll, HR administration, or shared services environment (nice to have)
- Experience working in a call center or customer support role (nice to have).
