About the role

  • As an Application Support Engineer, you'll play an integral role in building the roadmap of the company's technology strategy.
  • Participating in day-to-day operations and maintenance of our product hosting infrastructure.
  • Participating in medium to large scale projects.
  • Acting as lead resource in small to medium scale projects.
  • Making recommendations of processes and technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness to the team.
  • Acting as a second level resource to investigate and resolve daily incidents and problems escalated by various teams.

Requirements

  • Experience of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Experience with common database technologies, such as SQL Database/Server.
  • Demonstrate intermediate level of understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Able to understand infrastructure architecture, including public and private cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security, and storage.
  • Able to understand access management, administration, and application support.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of IT infrastructure, ITIL processes, CMDB, and change management.
  • Able to perform application upgrades and patching, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery.
  • Have working knowledge of these technologies: Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Kubernetes, and Visio.
