About the role
- As an Application Support Engineer, you'll play an integral role in building the roadmap of the company's technology strategy.
- Participating in day-to-day operations and maintenance of our product hosting infrastructure.
- Participating in medium to large scale projects.
- Acting as lead resource in small to medium scale projects.
- Making recommendations of processes and technologies that will improve efficiency and effectiveness to the team.
- Acting as a second level resource to investigate and resolve daily incidents and problems escalated by various teams.
Requirements
- Experience of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
- Experience with common database technologies, such as SQL Database/Server.
- Demonstrate intermediate level of understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Able to understand infrastructure architecture, including public and private cloud, networking, virtualization, identity, security, and storage.
- Able to understand access management, administration, and application support.
- Demonstrate an understanding of IT infrastructure, ITIL processes, CMDB, and change management.
- Able to perform application upgrades and patching, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery.
- Have working knowledge of these technologies: Jira, ServiceNow, Confluence, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Kubernetes, and Visio.
