About the role
- Take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across Netherlands and Türkiye
- Ensure all payroll operations comply with local laws and global standards
- Act as a subject matter expert on payroll systems, taxation, time & attendance, and benefits
- Investigate and resolve escalations related to payroll calculations, absences, and timekeeping
- Support month-end and year-end payroll closing activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all payroll processes
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system optimizations
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and always ensure full compliance
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and Turkish
- You're comfortable working across teams and time zones
- Advanced knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements
- Experience handling payroll for multiple countries or complex employee groups
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving complex payroll challenges
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
- A collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement mentality
- Optional: Knowledge of specific systems such as Ms Office, CTT or Other Time Keeping Systems
