About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the technical lead for the project, from initial data collection to final reporting
Author the technical sections of all major project deliverables
Present complex engineering concepts and findings to senior leaders
Design, build, and validate feasibility conditions model
Lead on-site assessments at pilot installations
Research and analyze innovative water technologies
Provide technical direction and mentorship to a supporting junior analyst

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related engineering field
U.S. Citizenship
At least 8 years of professional experience in water resources engineering, utility management, or a related field
Demonstrated expertise in water balance modeling, water treatment technologies, and conveyance systems
Proven experience with engineering cost estimation and life-cycle cost analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical subjects for a non-technical audience
Willingness and ability to travel domestically (approx. 10-15%)
