About the role

  • Researches, writes, and publishes content for internal and external communications including articles, press releases, websites, social media, and blogs
  • Proofreads and edits documents to ensure accuracy and clarity
  • Helps maintain the company’s brand identity by ensuring consistency across communications
  • Collaborates with team members to update and manage content on SharePoint sites, Teams sites, and the intranet
  • Assists with social media strategies to enhance company presence
  • Contributes to press conference planning, logistics, and media coordination
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with internal teams and external audiences
  • Assists with document review and approval processes under guidance
  • Supports search engine optimization (SEO) efforts
  • Helps with corporate events and trade shows as needed
  • Prepares meeting agendas and minutes, and tracks action items

Requirements

  • BA/BS in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Professional writing or corporate communications experience preferred
  • Proven experience writing for multiple channels (web, print, email, social media)
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization
  • Proficiency with content management systems
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, design, and executive teams
  • Knowledge of AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or other editorial style guides
  • Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging copy
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples, including corporate or brand-focused work
