About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM components, templates, and workflows.
- Implement and optimize new features including schema rebuilds, third-party tool integrations, dealer locator enhancements, and Algolia search integration.
- Contribute to ETL processes and ensure smooth data flows between AEM and external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on SEO initiatives and site performance improvements.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards are consistently met.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and actively contribute to increasing team capacity and velocity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the AEM ecosystem.
- Drive delivery of high-impact features from a well-defined backlog.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites and Assets).
- Strong proficiency in Java, OSGi, Sling models, JCR, and AEM component development.
- Proven experience integrating enterprise search platforms (e.g., Algolia, Solr, Elasticsearch, or similar) with AEM.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; React or Angular preferred).
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, SEO best practices, and site performance optimization.
- Experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with scaled agile frameworks a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or C2) with proven experience working in English-speaking environments.
- Must be able to work US time zones.
- Preferred locations: Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.
- Contract role — hourly pay in USD; duration 3-6 months (possible extension).
