About the role
- Prepare, generate, verify, and send invoices to customers.
- Handle incoming payments, record transactions, and reconcile accounts.
- Match payments to invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Address billing inquiries and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate customer billing files and financial records.
- Generate billing and financial reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and billing procedures.
- Participate in preparing responses to the year-end audit requests and providing required documentation.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years of progressive Billing experience, preferably in a software or technology company
- Associate’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Experience with NetSuite (preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
