About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide general office support and handle a variety of clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Answer and screen incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate associate or voicemail.
  • Greet and assist company guests and visitors.
  • Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail and publications.
  • Sign for and distribute package deliveries.
  • Order, receive, stock, and distribute office supplies as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Some college (required)
  • One year of medical office experience (required), including front-of-office doctor's office experience (check-in/check out) and answering phones.
  • Prior authorization experience (specifically through Availity, United Healthcare portal, and CoverMyMeds).
  • Ability to work in a high-call environment.
  • eClinicalWorks experience.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically excel, outlook, teams).
  • Must have strong WIFI home connection.
  • HIPPA compliant workspace.
