About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide general office support and handle a variety of clerical tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Answer and screen incoming calls, directing callers to the appropriate associate or voicemail.
- Greet and assist company guests and visitors.
- Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail and publications.
- Sign for and distribute package deliveries.
- Order, receive, stock, and distribute office supplies as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Some college (required)
- One year of medical office experience (required), including front-of-office doctor's office experience (check-in/check out) and answering phones.
- Prior authorization experience (specifically through Availity, United Healthcare portal, and CoverMyMeds).
- Ability to work in a high-call environment.
- eClinicalWorks experience.
- Highly organized and able to multitask.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically excel, outlook, teams).
- Must have strong WIFI home connection.
- HIPPA compliant workspace.
