Optimize and enhance the electronic medical record (EMR) system functionality
Serve as an internal subject matter expert on EMR platform and work cross-functionally to understand end-user needs
Configure system settings, build custom forms, train end-users, develop reports, and implement workflows to improve clinical operations and data analysis
Partner with physicians, nurses, and department heads to evaluate EMR functionality gaps and identify opportunities for optimization
Lead the implementation and optimization of eCW features, including customization, templates, and reporting
Provide training and support to end-users
Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve the performance and scalability of reporting datasets

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare informatics or a similar role
Strong knowledge of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, with experience configuring and customizing EMR functionality
SQL skills with the ability to write efficient queries for large datasets
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Proven ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and drive results
Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
Self-motivated with the ability to drive initiatives and manage competing priorities
Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where adaptability, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are essential
