About the role
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a small multidisciplinary engineering team while delivering high-quality software that empowers clinicians and enhances the patient experience
- Partner closely with the CPTO and product team to define the technology strategy, including data and AI strategies
- Architect and build systems on AWS, and custom Salesforce applications that are secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable
- Lead the EHR integration strategy, overseeing integrations with multiple health systems
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines to support analytics, and reporting
- Drive the integration of data-informed features and AI technologies, including LLMs
- Promote standardization of system design, enforce software development best practices, implement and maintain reliable CI/CD processes
Requirements
- B.S. or MS. Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in technical leadership or architecture roles (e.g., Engineering Manager, Director)
- Expertise in designing, building, and scaling high-quality, resilient, and observable software on AWS
- Proven success leading multidisciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced, product-driven environments, including remote and asynchronous teams
- Proven ability to implement scalable CI/CD processes that support fast iteration while maintaining system reliability and security
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Deep understanding of agile development and lean product methodologies
