About the role

  • Ensure the service delivered to our customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding, and use decision-support tools and resources to provide an appropriate resolution
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns; demonstrate empathy while maximizing opportunities to build rapport with the customer
  • Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner following agreed procedures
  • Maintain basic knowledge of client products and/or services
  • Prepare complete and accurate work, including appropriately annotating accounts as required
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and business performance
  • Offer additional products and/or services when appropriate
  • Track, document, and retrieve information in the call-tracking database
  • Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff

Requirements

  • High school diploma; three to six months of relevant experience preferred
  • Courteous with a strong customer service orientation
  • Strong computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependable with strong attention to detail
  • Skilled at multi-tasking, with the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changes
  • Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high-production environment
  • Ability to work both as a team member and independently
  • Demonstrate patience in all customer interactions, maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner
  • Willingness to rotate shifts as needed
  • Depending on location and/or program, additional experience or skills may be required
