About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java Spring Boot.
- Work with PostgreSQL for efficient data modeling and persistence.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS EKS (Kubernetes), ideally with experience using AWS Conductor.
- Utilize GitLab CI/CD pipelines as part of the development and deployment process.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and content teams integrating with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager), especially React-based web components.
- Implement and manage APIs using Envoy API Proxy.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve system performance and stability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Experience deploying and scaling applications in AWS EKS (or Kubernetes generally).
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to AEM (especially in context with React-based frontends).
- Knowledge of Envoy or similar API gateway/proxy solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
