About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, evaluate, and support automation opportunities across the Corporate Controllers Group
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements to recommend automation and process improvements
Coordinate automation projects through planning, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support
Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automation solutions, dashboards, reports, and analytical tools
Support internal and external financial statements in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Collaborate with business partners, developers, and external resources to translate requirements into automation and reporting solutions
Monitor project milestones, track progress, and prepare status updates and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for automation, reporting, and analytics solutions
Research and leverage new technologies, tools, and data capabilities
Work independently and in cross-functional teams with various organizational levels
Participate in period-end close activities, account reconciliations, and resolution of unusual items and issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
3+ years of professional experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
Experience with automation and analytics tools such as UiPath, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and advanced Excel functionality preferred
Experience in business process analysis, solution development, User Acceptance Testing, and implementation
Strong project management and organizational skills
Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives and supporting projects from concept through implementation
Ability to document, streamline, and improve business processes through process mapping, analysis, and documentation
Ability to apply accounting knowledge and analytical skills to identify automation opportunities, improve processes, and enhance financial controls
Exceptional written and oral communication, change leadership, and customer service characteristics
