About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, packaging, or services.
Conduct market analysis, supplier management, negotiations, contract strategy and execution.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify value opportunities and develop supply strategies.
Prepare, review, and support contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements.
Build partnerships and lead sourcing projects with teams and external suppliers.
Manage supplier relationships and track key performance indicators.
Lead, coach, and develop procurement talent to strengthen organizational capability.
Resolve supply, pricing, contract, and supplier performance issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; a master of business administration or advanced degree is desirable.
Five or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, commodity management, or finance.
Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with experience influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills.
Working knowledge of market economics, cost structures, and value analysis to support fact‑based sourcing decisions.
Experience negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract development and execution.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred.
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred.
