Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the purchasing of assigned commodities, ingredients, packaging, or services
Conduct market analysis and supplier management
Execute negotiations, contract strategy, and execution
Partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify value opportunities
Maintain strong supplier relationships that support business objectives
Analyze market conditions and supply trends for purchasing decisions
Lead supplier selection and relationship management
Resolve supply, pricing, contract, and supplier performance issues
Use analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
Five or more years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, supply chain, commodity management, or finance
Strong communication and presentation skills with experience influencing stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization
Strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Working knowledge of market economics, cost structures, and value analysis to support fact-based sourcing decisions
Experience negotiating commercial terms and supporting contract development and execution
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with enterprise resource planning systems preferred
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools preferred
