About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Play a pivotal role in driving company bookings and market expansion in the Public Safety industry.
  • Focus on selling Allerium’s Agency Solutions including 9-1-1 Call Handling Equipment (CHE/CPE).
  • Responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business; managing customer renewals occurring within your territory.
  • Conduct sales via direct selling as well as the use of 3rd party channel partners.
  • Requires strategic key account management, business development efforts, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills required.
  • Creation and negotiation of multi-year government contracts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Drive sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal closure, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, implementing best practices and sales methodologies to drive performance excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM information.
  • Support finance with invoice and payment activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Telecommunications industry technical understanding.
  • Experience selling 9-1-1 call handling solutions with a thorough understanding of the 9-1-1 and public safety environment.
  • Experience selling computer-aided-dispatch, GIS, and cloud-based platforms or other related PSAP solutions.
  • Experience with MEDDICC / MEDDPICCR or similar sales methodology.
  • Must be located in one of the following states: KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL.
  • Minimum of 5 years selling to public safety agencies, or equivalent experience.
