About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a pivotal role in driving company bookings and market expansion in the Public Safety industry.
- Focus on selling Allerium’s Agency Solutions including 9-1-1 Call Handling Equipment (CHE/CPE).
- Responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business; managing customer renewals occurring within your territory.
- Conduct sales via direct selling as well as the use of 3rd party channel partners.
- Requires strategic key account management, business development efforts, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Professional presentation and interpersonal skills required.
- Creation and negotiation of multi-year government contracts.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Drive sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal closure, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, implementing best practices and sales methodologies to drive performance excellence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM information.
- Support finance with invoice and payment activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Telecommunications industry technical understanding.
- Experience selling 9-1-1 call handling solutions with a thorough understanding of the 9-1-1 and public safety environment.
- Experience selling computer-aided-dispatch, GIS, and cloud-based platforms or other related PSAP solutions.
- Experience with MEDDICC / MEDDPICCR or similar sales methodology.
- Must be located in one of the following states: KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL.
- Minimum of 5 years selling to public safety agencies, or equivalent experience.
