About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and measures for the manufacturing of satellite systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues early in the development process.
- Lead or collaborate on quality investigations such as MRB, CAPA, and root-cause investigations.
- Analyze test results, identify trends in performance data, and recommend improvements or corrective actions.
- Review supplier and vendor quality standards and performance, conducting audits as necessary.
- Ensure that all quality assurance documentation is accurate and maintained according to industry and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives in the quality assurance process.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of quality assurance standards, methodologies, and regulatory requirements in the aerospace industry.
- Proficient in the use of QA tools, software for data analysis, and statistical quality control techniques.
- Exceptional analytical skills to evaluate detailed specifications and technical documents.
- Education: A High School Diploma, Quality Assurance Certification, or a related field. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in the aerospace, satellite, or high-technology manufacturing sector.
