About the role

  • Act as the primary commercial owner for assigned Tier-1 operator accounts, with full responsibility for revenue growth, account strategy, and executive relationships.
  • Proactively identify and drive new opportunities across SMSC modernization, WEA evolution, MLC/location monetization, CAMARA APIs, and Edge/AI-enabled LMF.
  • Develop and execute multi-year account plans aligned with operators’ network transformation, cloud-native, and enterprise monetization strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level, VP, and Director stakeholders across Technology, Network, Product, and Procurement.
  • Create and manage a healthy sales pipeline, including forecasting, deal qualification, and value-based selling.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Delivery teams to shape solutions, influence roadmaps, and ensure successful deployments.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial structures, including license, SaaS, and usage-based models.
  • Represent the company at industry forums, customer workshops, and executive briefings as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of mobile network architectures and services, including SMSC, WEA/911, location services (MLC/LMF/GMLC), and emerging API frameworks such as CAMARA.
  • Proven ability to sell complex, high-value software solutions to Tier-1 mobile operators.
  • Consistently meet/exceed sales quota.
  • Demonstrated success in proactive account management, pipeline creation, and closing strategic deals.
  • Executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfort in operating in technically complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.
  • 10+ years of enterprise or telecom sales experience, with a minimum of 7 years managing Tier-1 mobile operators in North America.
  • Track record of growing revenue within existing Tier-1 accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and new solution adoption.
  • Experience selling network software, cloud-native platforms, signaling, messaging, location, or security solutions.
  • Familiarity with long sales cycles, RFP-driven environments, and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global teams (product, engineering, delivery, legal, finance).
