HR Consultant
CompuWorks Ltd.HR Consultant supporting HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle at Sourcepass. Involving onboarding, recruiting coordination, training support, and process improvement initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing timely, accurate, and supportive HR guidance.
- Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal employee changes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Support recruiting efforts through job postings, candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and onboarding documentation.
- Partner with hiring managers to help create a positive and organized candidate experience.
- Provide backup support for the international contractor lifecycle process.
- Support compliance, systems, and policy training initiatives across the organization.
- Assist with organizing training materials, resources, and internal knowledge documentation.
- Assist in improving HR processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures to create more efficient and scalable operations.
- Contribute to HR initiatives and projects that support employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and a positive company culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, tools, and processes for greater efficiency and consistency.
- Support additional projects and initiatives as assigned by the Head of People & Culture.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of HR Generalist or HR Operations experience
- Strong understanding of HR practices, compliance, and employment laws including FMLA, ADA, and state leave regulations
- 3+ years supporting full cycle recruitment
- Experience supporting benefits administration and leave of absence processes
- Hands-on HRIS experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
- Process-improvement mindset with the ability to work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint
- Positive, collaborative, and people-focused approach
