About the role
- Administer complex custody accounts that hold several different asset types
- Reconcile incoming payments on the assets held in our account
- Help to facilitate the settlement of bond and loan trades
- Provide technical expertise related to the different facets of custody accounts including trade settlements wire disbursements reconciliations FX etc.
- Ensure all analytical or operational functions required for assigned accounts are performed completely and timely in accordance with department procedures
- Be involved in risk related projects issues and mitigation
- Research and interpret legal documents such as Custodial Agreements or other related governing documents as issues arise
- Perform all miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned or required in a timely and efficient manner participate actively in process or system related projects including assisting our systems support group with design programming analysis testing and implementation aspects
- Propose recommendations and implement automated solutions to replace any manual or semi-automated processes on an ongoing basis
- Assist with setting up new deals
- Complete special projects as needed/assigned in a timely and efficient manner
- Act in a lead capacity for the group in project orientation coordination testing and implementation of complex projects
- Evaluate servicer performance to ensure compliance with stated agreements
- Uses existing processes and procedures to solve routine or standard problems
- May act as a lead on small projects coordinating and facilitating the work of others
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services, collateralized loans or analysis or Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to analyses information and make independent decisions
- Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
