About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise and support leaders on employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance issues, and sickness-related absences, to ensure prompt, effective, and policy-compliant resolution
  • Ensure that particularly complex or high-risk cases are escalated to the appropriate teams in accordance with agreed escalation processes
  • Maintain and ensure completeness of records and documentation related to ER cases
  • Collaborate with Legal and external counsel to resolve complex ER issues and continuously monitor legal developments to ensure they are reflected in company policies and processes
  • Identify recurring themes and trends to inform targeted training and development for business leaders
  • Produce and analyze ER-related data, identify appropriate solutions where needed, and contribute specialized Employee Relations expertise to People-team and business projects
  • Provide company-wide support for assigned ER activities as part of change programs, working closely with colleagues to effectively manage and implement workforce changes
  • Deliver specialized advice and coaching to managers and employees, and ensure implementation of Employee Relations processes and policies; ensure consistent application across the organization and that all recommendations comply with applicable legal requirements
  • Advise on and contribute to cross-cutting People policies, including local variations
  • Ensure our policies are up to date and compliant with legal requirements
  • Support the wider Continental Europe People team on workforce matters and provide guidance on local employment law, cultural norms, and country-specific differences

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant HR qualification or extensive experience in ER case management and employment law procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English and German; Polish language skills are an advantage
  • High ethical standards and strong alignment with our company values and culture
  • Proven experience building and developing strong, trusted relationships at all levels, supported by confident presence, personal credibility, and strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in virtual teams and a global environment
  • Good understanding of how a larger, commercially-focused organization operates
  • Experience working under tight deadlines and meeting or exceeding service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Strong organisational skills, a structured approach to work, and keen attention to detail
  • Fluent spoken and written English
