Learning Designer
Computershare UKLearning Designer creating user-centric educational solutions for CES applications in a collaborative environment. Delivering training through various platforms and ensuring impactful learning experiences.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop and maintain learning solutions for our CES applications, including eLearning modules, software simulations, how-to videos (screencasts), user guides, instructor-led training and certification exams.
- Facilitate virtual training sessions for our CES clients using Microsoft Teams, incorporating best practices in adult learning and learner engagement.
- Develop performance-focused and engaging eLearning with Articulate Rise and Storyline including software simulations and assessments.
- Develop high-quality, easy-to-follow video screencasts using Camtasia or Articulate.
- Apply user experience (UX) and graphic design best practices to design solutions with intuitive navigation, engaging interfaces and appealing graphics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve learning experiences based on user feedback, data insights and performance metrics.
- Collaborate effectively with your global team on a weekly basis to ensure consistency, share best practices, and support continuous improvement of learning programs.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning gaps, define objectives, and ensure learning solutions meet both user needs and business goals.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree; several years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Several years of experience designing, developing and delivering learning solutions as a Learning Specialist, Instructional Designer, Learning Experience Designer or similar role.
- Experience facilitating engaging virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams, WebEx or similar applications.
- Experience developing eLearning with Articulate Rise and Storyline. Ability to produce assessments, software simulations, and complex interactions.
- Experience developing software screencast videos with Camtasia or similar applications.
- Experience transforming complex processes into easy-to-follow how-to content.
- Experience using SnagIt or similar software to produce screenshots.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, with the ability to understand needs, clarify expectations, and deliver a positive, client-centered experience.
- Excellent productivity and project management skills.
