About the role
- Ten-to-twelve-week internship program from 1st June to August 2026
- Initially home-based in Houston, TX; transition to new Houston office minimum three days a week when opened
- Support high-volume financial operations: wire creation and trade settlement
- Initiate over 70 domestic and international wire transfers daily; review legal documents; validate funding memos
- Process 400–1,000 loan facility trades daily across multiple offices; coordinate settlements and validate trade details
- Collaborate with client teams to resolve transaction issues and maintain data integrity
- Opportunity for returning internships and/or full-time position upon graduation
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Fall 2026 - Spring 2028 graduates)
- You thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- You show a strong initiative to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Proactively takes steps to achieve goals and manages time effectively to meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and ensures accuracy in the quality of work with effective organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
- Preferred: Enrolled in an Economics, Finance/Accounting or Mathematics degree program
- Preferred: Impactful involvement through work, academic leadership, volunteerism or activism within the community
