About the role
- Hybrid position primarily based in Columbia, MD requiring three days a week in the office
- Ten-to-twelve-week internship program running from 1st June to August 2026
- Computershare Corporate Trust is a market leader providing trustee and sophisticated agency services
- RMBS team administers securitized and non-securitized residential assets
- Aggregate and reconcile loan level information and resolve exceptions with reporting deal parties
- Confirm receipt of required remittances, calculate mandatory waterfall payments, and produce payment date statements for certificate holders
- Ensure timely distribution of funds
- Successful interns may be offered returning internships and/or a full-time position upon graduation
Requirements
- Strong critical thinking skills and an analytical mindset
- Ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program (Fall 2026 - Spring 2028 graduates)
- Thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
- Strong initiative to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Proactively takes steps to achieve goals and manages time effectively to meet critical deadlines
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and ensures accuracy in the quality of work with effective organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Preferred: Enrolled in an Economics, Finance/Accounting or Mathematics degree program
- Preferred: Impactful involvement through work, academic leadership, volunteerism or activism within the community
