About the role

  • Hybrid position primarily based in Columbia MD requiring two days a week in the office.
  • Process and transmit the most complex money movements associated with Asset Backed Lending products.
  • Provide technical expertise related to monthly account processing and reconcilement issues.
  • Act as the primary contact for critical Asset Backed Lending account production and escalation.
  • Document review and new deal setup; new deal QC setup review.
  • Calculation tool development and processing money movements.
  • Train staff and mentor peers; research and resolve more complex client/investor inquiries.
  • Partner with external and internal parties to troubleshoot and improve production processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following areas: trust, financial services, or account management (or combination of education and experience).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and resolution skills with high attention to detail.
  • Relationship management and customer service experience.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to mentor and train peers and junior team members.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and instruct others.
  • Experience reading and interpreting legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate flexibility and implement change.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel strongly preferred.
