About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take ownership of designing and executing test cases for end-to-end integration scenarios (A2A & B2B)
Validate API integrations (REST/SOAP), message flows, and payload transformations (XML/JSON)
Perform functional, regression, and negative testing for integration interfaces
Ensure data consistency and mapping accuracy across systems
Test framework-driven integrations and configurable platform components
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to identify defects, analyze root causes, and validate fixes
Maintain comprehensive test documentation, execution reports, and defect logs
Support SIT/UAT cycles and release validation activities
Validate integrations across environments (DEV, QA, PROD)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 7 years of testing experience, including 5-6 years in enterprise integration/middleware testing
Strong exposure to integration testing and API validation
Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP BTP Integration Suite (preferred)
Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs
JSON and XML payload structures
Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SOAP UI)
Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
