About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the administration of the review, analysis, proofreading, and redlining of agreements
  • Leverage company AI tools and implement AI strategies to enhance contract review process and identify areas for AI efficiencies
  • Ensure the maintenance of contract templates in computer system; update contract templates as needed
  • Draft and negotiate terms and conditions for simple contracts
  • Safeguard the maintenance of contracts database
  • Interact with clients and participate in the contract negotiation process
  • Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure contractual terms and conditions are acceptable and serve to minimize risk
  • Work with internal teams to enforce and train on proper contract procedures
  • Manage requests for proposals
  • Responsible for company-wide training on proper contract procedures
  • Ensure all processes are documented and updated regularly
  • Track authorizations and correspondence
  • Exercise independent judgment to ensure that the dissemination of information is made to appropriate employees regarding contract status
  • Provide appropriate reporting to management as needed
  • Provide contract summaries as requested and ensure contract execution in accordance with company policy
  • Perform other administrative tasks requested by manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate office managing contracts or working in the legal field
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Exceptional customer service skills; able to support both internal and external customers
  • Proactive customer service
  • Attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
  • Adept at handling interruptions and multi-tasking during high-volume periods
  • Excellent computer skills, including CRM systems, ERP Systems, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft CoPilot
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
