About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, customise, and extend Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and platform configuration
Build integrations (inbound & outbound) following platform guardrails and best practices
Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
Produce technical documentation including technical design specs, data models, and integration patterns
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across environments
Build unit tests and ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards
Support release cycles managed via CI/CD, ensuring code quality through Gearset/Pipelines
Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and reviews
Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Architects, testers and Admins
Support prototyping, fit-gap analysis, and impact assessment for new features and seasonal releases
Work with the Technical Lead and Architects on scalable solution designs
Engage with cross-functional teams following the operating model practices referenced in CC Salesforce governance materials
Identify opportunities to optimise the platform, automate processes, and introduce innovative designs
Stay current with new Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs
Experience working on complex Salesforce orgs with multi-cloud components
Proven track record developing secure, scalable, and performance-optimized solutions
Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Azure DevOps
Experience with Salesforce CPQ, RCA and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
Knowledge of middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica) and broader integration patterns
Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities
Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)
Additional certifications (Admin, CPQ Specialist) beneficial
