About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, customise, and extend Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and platform configuration
  • Build integrations (inbound & outbound) following platform guardrails and best practices
  • Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Produce technical documentation including technical design specs, data models, and integration patterns
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across environments
  • Build unit tests and ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards
  • Support release cycles managed via CI/CD, ensuring code quality through Gearset/Pipelines
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and reviews
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, Architects, testers and Admins
  • Support prototyping, fit-gap analysis, and impact assessment for new features and seasonal releases
  • Work with the Technical Lead and Architects on scalable solution designs
  • Engage with cross-functional teams following the operating model practices referenced in CC Salesforce governance materials
  • Identify opportunities to optimise the platform, automate processes, and introduce innovative designs
  • Stay current with new Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce APIs
  • Experience working on complex Salesforce orgs with multi-cloud components
  • Proven track record developing secure, scalable, and performance-optimized solutions
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Copado, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, RCA and/or Marketing Cloud Account Engagement
  • Knowledge of middleware (MuleSoft, Informatica) and broader integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud and AI capabilities
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (required)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (preferred)
  • Additional certifications (Admin, CPQ Specialist) beneficial
