About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop application packages in MSI, MSIX, and Wrappers using PSADT, as well as native PowerShell scripts for various Windows operating systems
Test and maintain software packages for distribution to user desktops, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
Create application packages for macOS environments
Deploy applications in customer environments using Intune and MECM, actively monitoring deployments, remediating failures, and performing retirement activities for applications in Intune/MECM environments
Create and maintain effective local documentation including standard operating procedures, best practices, and methodologies for application packaging and deployment
Develop and maintain skills in Microsoft Windows, OS deployment and software packaging technologies
Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to resolve issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring high-quality service delivery
Provide technical mentorship, lead team improvement initiatives, and contribute to special projects to ensure operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7+ years in Application packaging
Minimum of 7+ years in Deployment tools like Intune, MECM
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Intune, MECM, Co-Management, Autopilot, and CMG
Strong knowledge of Intune configuration, policy management, Defender for Endpoint, and cloud security services
Advanced proficiency in Application packaging using tools like Adminstudio, Master packager, PACE, PSADT, JAMF across different OS (ex: Windows and MAC)
Familiarity with Windows, macOS environments, including deep troubleshooting experience with installation, uninstallation related issues
Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation, configuration management, and troubleshooting
Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
Flexible, quick to adapt to changes, and eager to take on additional duties and special projects as required.
