About the role
- Lead major programmes and manage a team of Project Managers to deliver business-critical outcomes
- Own the delivery approach—from defining programme structures to implementing governance and assurance frameworks
- Drive success across the lifecycle, from pre-sales and proposal development through to delivery and benefits realisation
- Engage stakeholders at all levels, influencing attitudes and ensuring alignment with customer governance and business needs
- Forecast and optimise resources, balancing multiple assignments for maximum efficiency
- Grow the practice, building capability and fostering a high-performing team culture
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise and recommending best-fit methodologies
Requirements
- Proven track record of delivering complex, high-risk programmes and multiple successful assignments
- Leadership excellence with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Experience in programme methodologies such as MSP, Prince2, Agile
- Knowledge of Health & Safety (IOSH or equivalent) and CDM regulations
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and ability to articulate their business benefits
- Strong assurance, governance, and business management capabilities
- Excellent communication, literacy, and numeracy skills
